ALBUFEIRA
In History Albufeira was a thriving seaport. As a result of the tide of tourism this
‘once upon a time fishing village’ has expanded since the 1960s into a major holiday
resort and now has 15,000 permanent residents. Albufeira is famed for its beaches,
for the countless shades and tones of its rocks and cliffs. Slightly inland the tone
changes. The green of the countryside is dotted with almond, fig, orange and
pine trees.

The fine selection of beaches include Praia de Balaia, Praia de Castelo, Praia de Falesia, Praia de Gale. The whole area Greater Albufeira is the most tourist-intensive place in Portugal. Some of the old charm still exists in Albufiera which can be found in the labrynth of narrow streets, lined with apartments, cafes and restaurants. A recent addition is the new marina that has been completed on the west side of the town and offers a different and attractive prospect. The nightlife in Albufeira is probably the best in the whole of the Algarve as the town is riddled with Bars, restaurants that fill up after sunset.

Kasamia is the hotel operator and are running it with a 6 year renewable contract. During the first year, there will be a 5% rental guarantee. After that, the first year owners will receive income from a rental pool and a share of the revenue from the onsite bars, restaurant and spa.
